SECULARISM for most political parties but one is being pro minority and for the one left out there is no such word in their dictionary according to others. but i wonder why!!! being pro minority does not make anyone secular.being impartial and being pro everyone is real secular. most political parties for their poll advantage and vote bank theory as it is called vouch for the minority and do nothing for them in reality.
I must cite an example here; on 15 th august this year in a city called mangalore(which shot to infamous glory thanks to the gossip mongering secular image needy and story hungry media focussing on an issue and blowing it out of proportions and creating a real bad image of the city to the extent that a minister from the central goverment in the most irresponsible way and totally uncalled for comment calling it as talibanisation of mangalore while the ground reality is totally different) anyways coming back to the main issue : on 15 th august 2009 two heads of slaughtered cows was found in the early hours of the day in a temple in the heart of the city and a temple as old as the city itself and sanctity of the highest order. this is one of the worst possible attacks on hinduism and the whole belief of cow being the most sacred animal.This clearly was the job of some miscreants obviously with some vested interests to disturb peace and security of the city. how many of u outside mangalore know this? very few...thanks to media... its happened to the majority community so why rise a hue and cry !!!! nobody bothers about majority... in contrast ... a girl from a minority community in a village near the city is requested by the college authorities not to wear the traditional attire to college news is all over the media...again thanks to the media.
the same media was here tarnishing the image of he city when some hooligans entered a pub which was running without licence and attacked people in there . the news flashed for a whopping 16 days. then followed a incident of a girl from the minority was taken to task for talking with some other guy allegedly by the people close to her father...media was again there tarnishing mangalore... but where the he** are they when such a shameful thing happens with the majority!!!!!
whenever there is a discussion on tv secular people bring up the issue of gujarat riots and media attacks the person who ha swon two terms as a chief minister despite all odds , when media predicted he s going to lose ,he still won witha whopping majority and he s by far statistically as well as technically the best chief minister of gujarat and any other state of India has ever produced and this is a fact. now why does media only show facts on gujarat ??? what preceeded is equally ghastly'godhra' but media is not keen as godhra happened to majority but gujarat the minority was affected .. in both scenarios it is utterly inhumane and both acts are to be condemned in the highest voice possible.
media brings up the issue of graham steins murder and other attacks on minority but the issue of caste and rreligion conversion is not talked about..why? talking about majority does not give u a secular image .it apparently makes you communal!!!! holy sh**
